ECG Optimization & File Upload Guidelines

Optimizing ECG Settings
  • Standard ECG speeds are 25mm/s or 50mm/s.
  • Waveform height (measured in millivolts) should be adjusted for clarity—large enough to analyze without overlapping other leads.
File Upload Protocol
  • File Format: Our cardiologist cannot read files uploaded in the .ecg or DICOM formats. Please submit ECGs and radiographs in the .png, .pdf, or .jpg formats instead.
  • Upload Method: All supplemental files should be uploaded using:
    • The link in your confirmation email, or
    • The upload link at the bottom of the sonographer's report.
  • Submission Deadline: To avoid delays, all ECG files, radiographs, and other relevant documents must be uploaded by 5:00PM on the day the cardiology review is submitted. Late uploads may delay the cardiology report.
